As part of our expanding Ford product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our oil catch can upgrade for the Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost Mk7 model suitable for track or fast road use. Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure the performance and efficiency of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time due to unwanted blow-by gases and vapours, which can enter the engine from a CCV port or PCV valve. This is particularly prevalent with the EcoBoost engine, which can be known for poor reliability without good preventative maintenance. AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to developing a catch can kit specifically for the Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost Mk7 model utilises the heat shield from our AIRTEC Motorsport Stage 2 induction kit to attach the mounting bracket. As a result, it requires the induction kit to be fitted first and will not work with other induction kits or the original air box. It features a high-quality laser cut bracket finished in powder-coated satin black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place. The can itself features an internal baffle and dipstick, and detaches to allow easy maintenance. It comes with a comprehensive fitting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide. Why do I need a catch can?The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance and efficiency. Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures in order to avoid carbon build-up forming. As part of our expanding Ford product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our inlet manifold upgrade aimed at modified Mk4 Focus ST owners who want to further improve the performance and potential of their cars for track or fast road use. Direct Replacement FitDesigned to fit 2.3-litre ST models, the manifold is a true direct replacement that utilises all of the original fixtures and fittings, including the standard throttle body and therefore pipework. There are also provisions to fit either the original plastic engine cover or the AIRTEC Motorsport replacement engine cover, and the design also includes a moulded fixing tab to secure the vacuum line, as per the original. The comprehensive fitting kit includes a thermal gasket to help reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head, together with all fixtures and fittings, new rubber gaskets as well as detailed installation instructions. Construction Made from high-quality cast aluminium for increased strength over the original plastic assembly, the manifold is finished in high-quality powder-coated black with a raised AIRTEC Motorsport logo, for a neat OEM+ look to improve the appearance of the engine bay. Airtec AIRTEC Motorsport Under Tray for Toyota Yaris GR Gen 1 & Gen2
As part of our expanding Toyota product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our direct replacement aluminium under tray for the Yaris GR Gen 1 and Gen 2 models including automatics. The IssueThe original under tray on Gen 1 cars features no venting at all and is made from a weak fibre material construction which will be prone to failure over time. Gen 2 cars feature a plastic under tray but with a small single vent for the transfer case alone. ConstructionOur solution to creating a direct replacement under tray began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment that reuses all original mounting points and fixings. Made in 2mm aluminium and finished in a high-quality black powder coat, our under tray offers an enhanced level of protection to the underside of the car but more importantly, the design has also been carefully considered to ensure improved cooling and air flow to the vital transmission components. CoolingWhilst the Gen 1 under trays feature no cooling at all, the Gen 2 under trays feature a basic duct for the transfer case at the rear, as clearly Toyota see this as an area that requires cooling. The AIRTEC Motorsport under tray therefore utilises a much larger scoop for the rear to force more air flow and offer better cooling. It also features a built in gearbox cooling duct, together with a venting section behind it to create air flow to and from the transmission and reduce temperatures. The comprehensive design also features rear ventilation to allow heat to exit the undertray together with side vents to further improve air flow. ConclusionA simple yet effective upgrade that offers improved strength, durability and cooling effectiveness. Please note: The under tray uses existing mounting points – but it is essential the fixings you use to secure it are of good quality. The original Toyota fittings should only be reused if they’re in good condition. Worn, corroded or broken fixings should be replaced with new items from Toyota, as failure to do so may cause the under tray to work loose. Designed to fit solely with our AIRTEC Motorsport Mk3 Focus ST/RS and Mk4 Focus ST cast inlet manifold upgrade, this fuel rail allows four additional top feed fuel injectors to be easily added. Working in conjunction with the car’s original Direct Injection set up, this offers hugely increased fuelling capabilities that are required when pushing power to a much higher level. Machined from high-quality aluminium and finished in anodised black, the fuel rail features ORB-8 fittings at both ends that adapt to AN-6 male fittings, which come supplied. To maximize performance addressing the restrictive components between the airbox and turbocharger are a top priority. It's common to individually upgrade these components, but doing so is not ideal as it mean sacrificing overall design for the sake of compatibility. This is why the APR system is one complete upgrade from the turbocharger to the intake airbox. We were able to increase the diameter as large as possible with the best geometry from the turbo to the intake airbox to promote the maximum amount of flow with the lowest pressure drop. The system starts at 80mm and can expand up to 88mm for larger airbox systems. On the Golf R we increased flow by over 30% at each measured inlet depression! This means the turbo doesn't have to work as hard, which translates to lower temperature, and improved performance. This system is compatible with the factory intake airbox, and works perfectly with an APR intake filter for those who prefer a "stealth" OE airbox upgrade. As part of our expanding Toyota product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our inlet manifold upgrade aimed at modified Yaris GR owners who want to further improve the performance of their cars for track or fast road use. The DesignWe wanted to develop a manifold with an improved design to allow more flow, whilst introducing longer inlet runners to help produce more power at lower engine speed. We also wanted to incorporate a design that increased air flow balance across the three cylinders. Crucially, we were also determined to create a true direct replacement manifold that required no further modifications, such as custom fabrication or a costly aftermarket ECU. After a thorough development process that saw us simulate and test several different designs, the result is a manifold unlike any other on the market. Tested – Increased and Balanced FlowOur freer-flowing design measured an improvement in flow of 36% in comparison to the original. Furthermore, by flow testing the original manifold and using runner number two as the benchmark, our test data revealed runner number one flowed a 13% difference on average whilst runner number three flowed an 11% difference on average.In direct comparison, the same test conducted on our AIRTEC Motorsport manifold revealed a difference of just 2% on runner number one and only 4% on runner number three, therefore providing much more equal balance across the cylinders, which is crucial for safe and efficient fuelling as well as consistent power and torque. Direct Replacement Fit We also completed our secondary goal of ensuring the manifold was a true direct replacement by utilising the original throttle body and pipework. The manifold also includes moulded fixing tabs to secure the coolant lines and wiring loom, which secure in place as per the original. Lastly, the manifold allows the original rubber gaskets to transfer over for a simple and easy installation process. If you have an AIRTEC Motorsport catch can fitted, please choose from the drop down menu, as the breather fittings require different take offs.Please note: the manifold has been designed to also allow a larger 54mm throttle body to fit if preferred, but this will require additional works to the boost pipework and ECU. It features a high-quality laser cut bracket, finished in powder-coated satin black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place. The can itself features an internal baffle and dipstick and detaches to allow easy maintenance. It comes with a comprehensive fitting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide. Why do I need a catch can?The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance and efficiency. Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures in order to avoid carbon build-up forming. A catch can also filters harmful contaminants before they can reach the inlet system. Its sturdy construction makes it perfect for holding bonnets open, whether or not your vehicle has gas lift struts. Crafted from the lightest genuine carbon fibre tubing and featuring precision-machined billet aluminium components with stainless steel fixings, the Pro-Prop offers both functionality and a sleek, professional appearance. Shaft Made from genuine carbon fibre, the shaft is ultra-thin and lightweight, with no wrapping or skinning—this is the real deal. Upper Fixing Precision CNC machined from billet aluminium, the upper fixing ensures a premium finish while maintaining lightweight properties. It includes a tactile thumb screw to securely attach the prop to your vehicle’s bonnet hook. Lower Fixing Also precision CNC machined from billet aluminium, the lower fixing houses a 304 stainless steel hook, allowing you to lock it into your vehicle’s latch system.
